Food Festival and Fete – Saturday 7th July 2012

The date has been set for this year’s food festival and fete.

This is a big event organised by the parents’ association. If anyone would like to join the sub-committee to help organise the fete, please contact Rowena Overend at rowena@violin.freeserve.co.uk

St Bart’s Fete Saturday 9th July 2011

Despite the odd shower a great day was had by all. The fete was opened by The Fine Dining Academy chef Chris Horridge who also judged the Ready Steady Cook competition on Saturday. Visitor’s were entertained by the school’s cheerleading team and a brass and clarinet group from Maestros, while they browsed around the many stalls, plant stall and pet’s corner. People were able to buy a hog roast sandwich for lunch, complete with salad and pudding. Such was the demand for the food some stalls sold out! After a very enjoyable and successful day the amount of £4500 was raised which will be donated to the school by the PA.

We are delighted to announce that the popular pets corner will be at the Fete again this year. Anyone who would like to bring their pet along, please do!

St Bart’s Food Festival and Fete

New for 2011! – Expedition Kit

A great opportunity to purchase pre-loved expedition kit at a fraction of the new price.  We are looking for donations of outgrown items of good quality; walking boots, waterproof lightweight coats, fleeces, thermal layers, hats with brims etc.; also unopened/reusable kit list items within sell-by date such as insect repellent, waterproof matches, strong cord etc. All items clean and suitable for re-use.  Anything suitable for DofE, CCF, World Challenge etc. that is no longer required.

Please deliver these, and all other Fete contributions to reception
