Our fete is being opened this year by Chris Horridge who will also be judging the Ready Steady Cook Competition
Chris is a Michelin starred chef and director from The Fine Dining Academy.
Passionate about the nutritional quality of food and the importance of healthy eating for children (and everyone), Chris supports this through visiting schools and running cookery classes especially for children (is there a budding Masterchef out there?)
Berkshire Maestros will be entertaining us at the fete, with a brass band and a jazz pianist from year 7, along the school cheerleaders.
Time: 12 noon – 3 pm
A cheerleading performance and live music will be just some of the entertainment at this summer’s PA Food Festival and Fete taking place on Saturday 9 July.
There will also be cookery competitions, a hog roast, beer tent, stalls and lots more.
Requests are out for gardeners sowing seeds and taking cuttings this spring to do extras for the fete.
We are also asking for donations of books. Please can you bring any contributions to the school reception.
